Alibaba opened a public beta of Wan 3.0 on Alibaba Cloud Model Studio and Qwen Cloud, its community blog said. The Tongyi video model natively generates clips up to 30 seconds, double the Wan 2.7-Video ceiling, and can ingest text, images, video, audio, web pages, and documents such as PDFs and PowerPoint decks. Alibaba pitches unbroken camera moves, tighter character consistency, and marketing or simulation uses. Why it matters: document-to-video can turn slide decks into draft footage without a separate storyboard stack. Caveat: the beta remains a hosted China-region service, so access and export quality still decide adoption.
