Bengaluru sovereign AI lab Sarvam AI closed about $75 million as a Series B extension bringing Nvidia aboard as a strategic investor, cofounder Pratyush Kumar told The Economic Times. Nvidia leads with roughly $25 million for about 1.66 percent, with Glade Brook, Gaja Capital, and others joining after an HCLTech-led $234 million first close at $1.5 billion. Filings put the tranche near Rs 698 crore and make Sarvam the first Indian firm to take Nvidia equity. Funds will scale compute for Indian-language and enterprise products. Caveat: stake math rests on filings and company comments, and revenue still must catch the valuation.
