Intelligence, the company behind Design Arena, raised a $7.9 million seed led by Index Ventures, with Conviction, A*, and Valkyrie joining, TechCrunch reports. About 5.3 million users rank side-by-side AI outputs for websites, images, and other visuals, while frontier labs pay for that preference data. Co-founder Grace Li says the platform generates roughly $60 million ARR and closed a frontier-lab deal within a week of launch. Caveat: rival human-evaluation startup Yupp shut after raising $33 million, so durable economics remain unproven even as nearby LM Arena thrives.
