Chinese AI lab Moonshot has opened what sources call its final private round before a possible Hong Kong listing, aiming for a valuation up to $50 billion, the South China Morning Post reports. The raise would follow a July financing near $30 billion and comes after the mid-July open-weights Kimi K3 release, which the company says outperformed leading U.S. systems on some tests. Moonshot is also dismantling its offshore structure to prepare for a listing as early as year-end. Caveat: Moonshot has not publicly confirmed the valuation or round size, and IPO timing remains source-based.
