Eleven industry and patient groups have urged Health Minister J.P. Nadda to rethink the draft Drugs, Medical Devices and Cosmetics Bill, 2026, arguing it still regulates medical devices, including AI-enabled diagnostics, as if they were pharmaceuticals.
